Music

Emory’s strongly interdisciplinary Music program offers students the skills and experience that will prepare them for careers in church music, performance, and teaching, or for continued graduate study on the doctoral level.

Our program offers rigorous coursework in music theory and history, intensive training in students’ chosen area of performance, and individualized mentoring. We also offer a vibrant musical performance scene at Emory and in Atlanta.

We offer both a Master of Music (MM) and Master of Sacred Music (MSM), and each degree offers concentrations in choral conducting and organ performance. All students admitted to graduate study are fully funded with tuition waivers and fellowships.
